Under the sink...
Little Johnny found a new hiding place, that he likes, alot! Under the kitchen sink, I have a box of wine glasses stored in the back. He will open the cabinet door, climb in and sit on the box...he has plenty of room under there! It's so funny! When he decides to hide...we always know where he will be! :P
*~Havana Pumpkin Festival~*
Little Johnny and I headed out about two weeks ago to the Annual Pumpkin Festival in Havana. We had so much fun- just the two of us! :D

Little Johnny reads a book!
Little Johnny has had books to read since he was a tiny baby, and he lost interest in them for a little while. He just turned three and now wants to read his books more often! Last night before bed, he and I layed down and we read two books! A farm book with lots of pictures and his Cars book with Mater and Lightening McQueen. He loved them both! He learned that a helicopters blades spin, "round...and round...and round..."...we looked around the room and found something else that spins round and round...his ceiling fan! He was so excited!! He had to run in the living room and tell his daddy all about it! :)
We are going to start visiting the local library so he can pick out the books he would like to read!
Here is a picture of him last night reading his book!
DID YOU KNOW??
Helping your children enjoy reading is one of the most important things you can do as a parent and it's well worth the investment of your time and energy.
Kids will learn reading skills in school, but often they come to associate reading with work, not pleasure. As a result, they lose their desire to read. And it is that desire—the curiosity and interest—that is the cornerstone to using reading and related skills successfully.
By far the most effective way to encourage your children to love books and reading is to read aloud to them, and the earlier you start, the better. Even a baby of a few months can see pictures, listen to your voice, and turn cardboard pages.
