Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!
Our first Thanksgiving together was great! At first we were a little unsure and stressed the idea of being at two different houses in two completly different states in one day! But, with a little planning and determination we did it! We woke up early Thanksgiving morning and headed to Abbeyville, Alabama to be with my family at my Nana's house. We made it in record time, even though my GPS took us some very weird routes, and tried to get me to turn through a cow pasture! Ha! We made it and enjoyed a delicious Thanksgiving lunch with my dad, brother, Nana, Aunt Kim, Uncle Jeff, and my cousins. It was just so wonderful to visit and talk about our childhood and all we were thankful for! My family just loved LJ! They wanted him to carve the Turkey!! lol. He talked my dad into doing the honors. ;)
After our bellies were full...we said our goodbyes and zoomed to pick up his son (Little Jay) from his mother...and back to his house to enjoy yet another wonderful Thansgiving dinner with his parents, sister Leslie, and her kids. Dinner was delicious and we enjoyed watching the kids play and have a good time!
My mom, sister, and brothers had Thanksgiving plans of their own this year...so even though I missed them terribly...after eating dinner with LJ's family...we sat on the porch...and drank some good ole' sweet tea and relaxed!!
All in all we had a wonderful first Thanksgiving together! <3
